Una lesión reciente en la mano me llevó a bajar el ritmo, recordándome la importancia de la pausa y el descanso dentro del trabajo creativo. Aunque al inicio fue forzado, con el tiempo aprendí a disfrutarlo, a escuchar más a mi cuerpo y a encontrar valor en la calma.

Alguien que sigue improvisando
Trato de sacar nuevas ideas cada semana en Instagram. Mi último proyecto fue en la galería Life is a Picnic en Guadalajara. Es mi segunda exposición y un proceso muy distinto a la ilustración digital, vivido entre ansiedad y emoción. Consumo videos sobre creatividad y enfrento el autosabotaje.

Painting emerged as a way of translating algorithmic censorship into matter: iterating an image until it becomes “permissible,” then giving it weight again, as if pigment could retain the trace of permissions and omissions. I do not illustrate; I document the edge where the machine can no longer speak.

Si IRI Barra de Café y Crochet fuera una ciudad, sería Vancouver. Es un lugar donde conviven muchas culturas, así como en nuestros granos de café hay distintos orígenes y perfiles. Además, es una ciudad llena de arte y creatividad, algo que también vivimos en cada detalle de IRI.
