When quarantine started you were second on my list of priorities.
I sent you a WhatsApp message but it never arrived, I was telling you to take care of yourself, to take care of your mommy, waiting for her to send me a message, to call me, to look for me.
But it was not like that, I checked my cell phone at every notification, every call from an unknown number, but I only won 2 cars, a scholarship, a food card, my dog was kidnapped, a relative from the United States talked to me, etc. but no call or message from you.
Quarantine taught me that you did not choose me as I chose you.
Quarantine taught me that you can cry until dawn.
Quarantine taught me that the most important priority is me.
Forty years taught me that love is like a child playing with fire.
The quarantine taught me that I gave my heart without you giving me yours.
The quarantine taught me so many things that I could never finish saying them.
But I still wait for your call, your message, because I love you, I loved you, I will love you.
