February is once again one of the most active weeks of the cultural calendar in Mexico City. For 22 years now, ZONAMACO articulates this moment and coordinates a coincidence of agendas between museums, galleries, foundations and independent spaces that activate the city simultaneously.

More than 25 exhibitions and activities will be inaugurated during Art Week 2026. Museums such as the Palace of Fine Arts will present the choreographic intervention Colossus by Diego Vega, while the MUAC brings together exhibitions such as Gunther Gerzso: something in common with the past, Asphalt botany, Neither origin nor whirlwind, Air in the form of a hostand Sound memories of Latin American literature. The Tamayo Museum presents a thematic exhibition of Gabriel de la Mora and Fundación Casa Wabi Sabino exhibits Coffee Table by Cristina Umaña, Specular Crystallization by María Naidich and Blissful Sisyphus by Bosco Sodi.

The program extends to galleries and independent spaces with openings at OMR, Galería de Arte Mexicano, Proyectos Monclova, kurimanzutto, Arróniz, Saenger Galería, Galería RGR, Daniela Elbahara, Breuer Studio, Jovian Fine Art and other spaces that concentrate openings during the first days of the week. In addition, there will be performances, residencies, curatorial tours and art auctions in different parts of the city.

The Conversations Program includes 24 public meetings with curators, artists and cultural managers. Among them are Art and institutions: management and curatorial practices, with the participation of Stefano Collicelli, Simone Krug, Donna De Salvo and Tatiana Cuevas; Exchanges, moderated by Aimé Iglesias Lukin, with Magnolia de la Garza, Gilberto González and Lucía Sanromán; and the presentation of the catalog Sic itur ad astra. 90 years of the Gallery of Mexican Art, with Daniel Garza Usabiaga, Christian Camacho and Juan Pérez Figueroa.

The agenda is completed with workshops, lectures, independent guided tours and evening events, in addition to Artsy Nights, the official party of ZONAMACO, The program is expanding its programming to include hybrid formats between music, art and nightlife.
