September 2, 2013.
The 1975“s ”self-titled" is released.
My me of that year without worries, enjoying high school if I am not mistaken....
7 YEARS LATER THEY WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT THIS ALBUM WOULD REPRESENT FOR THEIR CAREER TODAY.
September 18, 2020. (In the midst of a pandemic).
TRYING NOT TO HAVE EXISTENTIAL CRISES AND ACCOMPLISH MY GOALS AT THE SAME TIME.
Many things happened between 2013 and 2020
Some good, some bad, but they happened.
THERE HAVE BEEN BAD YEARS AT ALL (excluding 2020 of course).
Every year learning new things, meeting new people, people come and go.
Every year smiling, crying, growing...
Quoting a very good song by Rodrigo Moulinié's namesake.
“Maybe I wasn't the right person to say that everything was going to be all right.
And maybe I'm not what everyone expected me to be but here I am and I'm not leaving.”
Anyway... I miss the old The 1975 as much as I miss the old The 1975.
