Trying new things never hurts

What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?
Right now I've been working on content/photos and video using the NIKON system.

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
What I found out was that photography isn't about the camera or gear you are using, it's about how it makes you feel while using it.

What words, ideas, or emotions were running through your head?
This is fun and trying new things never hurts, learning a new system is exciting.

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
When I watch newer movies I don't think there is much feeling to the story. It's more about how good it looks, not the story.

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
That the algorithm is sometimes your friend and other times not even close.

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?
Look no further because I've done the hard yards for you. There is a Mexican restaurant in Seoul, South Korea, called PICO and it's best in class, it stacks up globally. The taco's alone are enough to bring Jesus back from the dead.

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?
Entourage. The soundtrack would be anything from the old Kanye West.

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.
I have a few but I can't go past these creatives: Mitch Lally, Tim Northey, Sam is Home , and a lot more... Basically I don't just follow and froth one creative because I find new ones I really like and get inspired by daily, but right now I'm really into short video/postcard stuff so I'm looking out for that work.
