What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?
Trabajé en varias piezas acerca del habitar. Estas piezas contienen fragmentos de un hogar que podrían ser el espacio de cualquiera, para que el espectador pueda identificar su propio habitar.

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
Maintaining consistency is a real challenge. Discipline is important for me, and it has to be a daily practice, but I also learned that rest is essential.

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?
Yellow, pink, happiness, doubt, satisfaction… so much going through my mind, but it’s a pleasure to have so much to think about in order to create and feel.

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
Continuous conversations about starting over, broken hearts, and the concept of dwelling.

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
The fear of ruining it. I’m usually very expressive when I create, but there was a crucial moment when I doubted myself. I rested, did exercises to loosen my hand, and continued.

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?
I prefer eating at home; I really enjoy the full ritual of cooking.

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?
Definitely Submarine, including its soundtrack.

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.
Tysapaulina. She has been one of my favorite artists for years; I’m deeply inspired by her work and how she shares her creative process throughout all her years of creating.

On an international level, a musical artist who motivates me greatly is Rosalía’s. Her perseverance and her quest to develop a personal style have been a huge inspiration for me and always push me to keep seeking something different.
