Jorgelina Zabert
Born in Neuquén, Patagonia, Argentina, she has lived in Barcelona since 2017. A designer and photographer, she works primarily with analog photography. Her work explores identity, femininity, the body, diversity, and family from an intimate and poetic perspective, using portraiture, self-portraiture, and personal archives to construct sensitive narratives.

    Constant social media use ends up being very dangerous and counterproductive for artists. On the one hand, we are overstimulated by images, by things that the algorithm knows can seduce us, and on the other hand, there is constant comparison with what everyone else is doing.
