What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?
Lately I have been working on food photography projects in digital and film for companies such as HEB, Oxxo, Sigma, La Moderna, La Costeña.

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
Patience is key in everything, both in daily life and at work. You have to develop an eye for details that not everyone sees: that's what makes a professional.

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?
In terms of emotions, I'd say passion and happiness. As for ideas, it's mainly about capturing the images I have in mind and want on camera. Some words would be tiredness, stress, achievements, development.

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
Music: there's always music present in everything I do. Music is a pillar of my work. I play it when I'm developing ideas, when I'm taking photos, and when I'm editing.

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
Meeting deadlines, having everything clear, and despite the stress, everything always turns out much better than expected.

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?
I don't really have a favorite restaurant; I like to go to different ones, but Francescos. Order a caprese salad, a four-cheese risotto, and a Margherita pizza—it's fantastic!

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?
I'm bad with titles, but what I am sure of is that it would be a soundtrack worthy of a Tarantino film.
