I know only one age

I know only one age, irretrievably held between two bodies

I am closer to your way of being flesh, of being true.

You are closer to that way of mine of being fiction, of being memory.

Every day you wear a different mask of being you,

more than your face, more than your face is seen

beyond that skin with which we wrap our personal nothingness

With me, only with me you decided to share the act,

holding the pact between two hands

of a distance that is always the same

The others see nothing of all this,

by then you will have kept all the years deep inside me

and I will forget your memory by realizing it

You will then have bequeathed me the transit of masks,

until we both share -once again- that of nothingness.
