Not so tangled entanglements

The loops call to tell you that they are not the villains. They say that if they came here, it was because you called them and that if you can't leave now, it's because you asked them not to leave you.

They say that tying you down isn't what breaks you, it's the other side of the rope that shatters you.

They want me to tell you that no matter how many knots you tie in the rope, the easier it is to escape (that knots only make balls of yourself).  And lhe scissors are not the solution either because one never knows the middle point where to cut (it is never marked) and in the end, one always ends up lacking and the other having too much, and no one likes to walk out with a lot of extra rope between his or her legs.

They say that if what you want is to untie yourself, stop being a fool, let them go and that's it. You are the one who clings to them, but they are not the ones who are terrified of falling...
...they ask if you are looking for excuses to stay, or reasons to leave.
