What's in your silences

That's all I want to hear,

Echoes of your foolish lips,

From which I cannot run away.

What is in my silences,

They are the echoes that speak for me,

That which I say in verse

For fear of not seeing you here.

What am I going to do, if no one dares to speak up here?

If we can't even understand each other by looking at each other?

If you are as distant as you are close to me?

For God's sake, with you and without you I want to die!

Your pride and mine What do you get but oblivion?

Love does not win here, nor does anything else that compares;

Only the battles we have lost remain

May sentiment and some God help us!
