What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them? 
Something I learned and am still learning is the language and syntax that exist within our hands; it's amazing how we can communicate even without words.

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head? 
Creo que la palabra seria “orgánico”: me gustaría retratar el cuerpo humano como esta forma orgánica que converge con el espacio y naturaleza.

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work? 
Yes, the story behind the photo series I titled “The Dance” is indeed related to a song called “Dawn Chorus” by Thom Yorke, which is part of his film “Anima.” I told my girlfriend about my fascination with hands, and she started moving them to the rhythm of the song. That's when I had this realization about the language of our bodies.

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process? 
Patience, and I think also a bit of comparison, as artists we often forget that the process is very different for each of us.

If you could have dinner at any restaurant in the city tonight, where would it be and what would you order? 
I think I'd like to go eat at "La Chula" tacos, especially at the branch on Revolución. I'd order a "La Jefa" drink and an order of tacos al pastor.

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack? 
It would be called “Caminos” and I would like Iván Cornejo to do the soundtrack.

Recommend us an artist you follow who inspires you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working. 
An artist I greatly admire is the photographer Sonia Madrigal; she is an artist whose work explores different territorial and identity narratives focused on the East of Mexico City.
