What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?
<\/strong>\u00daltimamente mi trabajo ha girado en torno a la ilustraci\u00f3n, tanto digital como f\u00edsica\/material, explorando su integraci\u00f3n con la cer\u00e1mica. Me encuentro en un proceso de aprendizaje y experimentaci\u00f3n, buscando distintas formas de llevar el dibujo al barro a trav\u00e9s de \u00f3xidos, engobes, stencil y otras t\u00e9cnicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
<\/strong>En este proceso, una lesi\u00f3n reciente en la mano me llev\u00f3 a bajar el ritmo, record\u00e1ndome la importancia de la pausa y el descanso dentro del trabajo creativo. Aunque al inicio fue forzado, con el tiempo aprend\u00ed a disfrutarlo, a escuchar m\u00e1s a mi cuerpo y a encontrar valor en la calma. Esta conexi\u00f3n conmigo misma y con la naturaleza me permite dar tiempo al pensamiento, dejar que el mundo se presente tal y como es, para crear piezas sin imponerles un ritmo o una forma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?
<\/strong>En mi mente rondaban ideas de armon\u00eda y equilibrio, una conexi\u00f3n entre lo que veo, siento y creo. Aunque en algunos momentos la prisa por producir intenta alcanzarme, he aprendido que fluir sin presi\u00f3n es vital para mi pr\u00e1ctica creativa y para los objetos que nacen de ella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
<\/strong>El aroma del tiempo<\/em>\u00a0ha sido una referencia constante en este proceso. Sus reflexiones sobre la prisa contempor\u00e1nea y la p\u00e9rdida de atenci\u00f3n hacia los detalles conectan directamente con la forma en la que concibo el tiempo y el ritmo dentro de mi trabajo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
<\/strong>La mayor dificultad ha sido la presi\u00f3n por crear y producir mientras mi cuerpo ped\u00eda pausa. Encontrar un equilibrio entre las exigencias externas y mis propios tiempos ha sido un reto constante, pero tambi\u00e9n una oportunidad para replantear c\u00f3mo y desde d\u00f3nde quiero crear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's your favourite restaurant and why do you like going there?
<\/strong>Chido Greens<\/strong><\/a>, en San Pancho, tiene un lugar muy especial en mi coraz\u00f3n. Es un espacio al que siempre regreso, y sus smoothies son de lo mejor. El Chocolate Powerhouse es imperdible si alguna vez lo visitan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which studios, laboratories, or workshops have you collaborated with recently or would you like to collaborate with in the future?
<\/strong>Actualmente realizo mis piezas en Mundano Cer\u00e1mica<\/strong><\/a>, un taller bell\u00edsimo que invita a crear a trav\u00e9s del barro. Tambi\u00e9n trabajo con Colorem<\/strong><\/a>, un laboratorio de impresi\u00f3n incre\u00edble con el que disfruto dar vida a mis ilustraciones. A futuro, siempre estoy abierta a conocer nuevos espacios y personas que disfruten lo que hacen y que fomenten la creatividad de cada creador y sus piezas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>I admire Sage Cortez<\/strong><\/a>, una artesana del barro y herramientas que comparte su cotidianidad de una forma muy honesta y cercana. Me encanta el arte de RILO<\/strong><\/a>, especialmente la manera en la que documenta y comparte sus procesos creativos. Me inspira Rodrigo Aranza<\/strong><\/a> por la fuerza visual y narrativa de sus murales. Y estoy completamente enamorada de las ilustraciones de Jimena Est\u00edbaliz<\/strong><\/a> por su sensibilidad y lenguaje visual. Podr\u00eda seguir con muchas recomendaciones m\u00e1s; sin duda estamos rodeados de personas incre\u00edbles que crean desde el amor por lo que hacen.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
