Was there any particular obsession, recurring theme, or image that guided the creative process behind the EP, even if it isn't immediately obvious to the listener?
<\/strong>Not really, to be honest. We tried to make something that was a clear improvement on our first EP and to incorporate the ways in which we have all changed since then. Ide (the singer)<\/strong><\/a> has been writing more from his own perspective, rather than observing what\u2019s happening in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was the process of deciding which songs would and wouldn\u2019t be part of the EP?<\/strong><\/strong>
We spent the months leading up to recording the EP writing as many songs as possible. Ultimately, it came down to which songs we liked the most, and we\u2019re very happy with the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What changed in the way of writing, recording, or producing on this EP compared to previous recordings?<\/strong><\/strong>
Our first EP was a collection of songs written and recorded in different studios over a couple of years. This time, we recorded all the songs in the same week, in the same studio, with the same person, who also did the mixes (Daan Duurland). There was much more structure in how we made this EP, which was really nice for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
