What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?
<\/strong>I have been working on commercial projects such as logos, illustration applied to merchandise for different sectors and murals, and in parallel developing personal work with acrylic paint on canvas and illustrated pieces on pine wood, exploring more physical formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
<\/strong>I learned not to force experimentation in commercial projects: clients come to me because of my style. I bring that exploration to my personal work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?
<\/strong>Spend less time in digital format and return to analog: paint more, make mistakes, and look for new physical ways to present illustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
<\/strong>The Korean film\u00a0No Other Choice<\/strong><\/a><\/em>\u00a0seeped into my mind more than into my work, reminding me not to resist change, to experiment, and to stay relevant as an artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
<\/strong>Communicating very personal emotions. Sometimes I feel they are too intimate, but I am learning to integrate them into my work without fear.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's your favourite restaurant and why do you like going there?
<\/strong>I love seafood. In Mexico City, one of my favorites is El Picha<\/strong><\/a>: the black aguachile tatemado is a delicacy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?

Which studios, laboratories, or workshops have you collaborated with recently or would you like to collaborate with in the future?
<\/strong>I'm interested in collaborating with ceramics and 3D production workshops, getting out of the screen more and bringing my illustration to objects and spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
