What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?<\/strong>
Recently, I have been working on several stop-motion animations and collages using analog techniques for various brands. These include a thermal bottle brand, an eyewear brand, and a multi-brand clothing store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?<\/strong>
Working with paper and printed photographs is a continuous learning process. It develops my compositional skills, color sense, and creativity in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?<\/strong>
I can't say there are specific words running through my head while I work. Rather, I give myself up to the creative flow. Sometimes I just say out loud, \"This is it!\" \u2013 which means the collage is ready, and I should stop before I spoil it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?<\/strong>
Recently, I've been discussing with friends the impact of AI on our field. I may be wrong, but I think this topic influenced my direction at the beginning of last year. Now I want to focus on handwork and analog materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?<\/strong>
Every year I dream of creating my own collection of objects (something in object design) or perhaps a book of my works. But I get so distracted by numerous tasks that I can't devote time to my personal projects. This is my eternal problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?<\/strong>
My answer will be nostalgic. Two years ago, my friends and I traveled to Japan. Every morning, our meeting place was Caff\u00e8 Veloche Kojimachi<\/a><\/strong>. There's nothing special about it \u2013 it's a chain found all over the city. But now, that egg sandwich and a cup of black coffee seem like the most desirable things to me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?<\/strong>
This movie would be called: About a Man and His Friends Who Like to Sleep Soundly<\/em>. The soundtrack would be by Jim Lang<\/a><\/strong> (composer of Hey Arnold<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which studios, laboratories, or workshops have you collaborated with recently or would you like to collaborate with in the future?<\/strong>
I work with a small team from time to time, mainly for my work as a theater artist. I think I would be very happy to work with a larger creative studio, specifically in photography and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.<\/strong>
I like many different artists, but lately, I've been particularly inspired by: Marco Rapaccini<\/a><\/strong> (Cyanotype, toning, frame-by-frame animation), Julia Fernandez<\/a><\/strong> (Ceramic painting that forms Phenakistoscope-type animations), and Ana Roque<\/a><\/strong> (Her photography has a calming effect on me). It seems that all of their works convey a strong sense of tactility. When I look at them, I feel as if I could touch them. It's wonderful when an artist can evoke that feeling.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
