What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?<\/strong><\/strong>
For a while now, I have been completely focused on analog collages. I love the process: finding, collecting, cutting, deconstructing, selecting, recomposing, pasting\u2026 Over the years, I have used different media (painting, drawing, engraving, photogravure), and my personal conception of collage has been shaped at the intersection of all these practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?<\/strong>
I always work on several pieces at the same time. Each collage is a new experience and brings new discoveries. I am fascinated by the unpredictable way images are constructed. Observing how shapes interact or repel each other, how a small amount of color or a different texture can modify the atmosphere of the collage, how moving a fragment can completely change the composition\u2026 It is always a way to continue learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?<\/strong>
I let curiosity guide me. Through practice, I have acquired a kind of intuition, and when meaning emerges, I react instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?<\/strong>
Collage brings out the involuntary, the unexpected. Sometimes, intimate memories, feelings, and dreams emerge\u2014undoubtedly influenced by collective culture. My inspiration comes from everywhere. It all blends together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?<\/strong>
I don\u2019t want to repeat myself, which is not easy, and sometimes I experience a sense of d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu<\/em>. The most difficult thing I face in my creative process is remaining surprised by my own creations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?<\/strong>
If my life were a movie this month, the title would simply be These Days<\/em> , and the soundtrack would be a slow, enveloping theme\u2014like those of Angelo Badalamenti<\/a><\/strong>\u2014a tranquil melody that seems to say \u201ceverything is fine,\u201d but which soothes the world\u2019s worries rather than denying them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which studios, laboratories, or workshops have you collaborated with recently or would you like to collaborate with in the future?<\/strong>
I recently completed an artist residency with Les Boutographies<\/a><\/strong> , and I have collaborated with press outlets and publishing houses such as Mia Le Journal<\/a><\/strong> and Sirocco Studios<\/a><\/strong>. I am always looking for interesting new collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.<\/strong>
I recommend Sarah van Rij<\/a><\/strong>, whose beautiful exhibition I saw last month at the Maison Europ\u00e9enne de la Photographie<\/a><\/strong>. I also recommend my friend Universal Partage<\/a><\/strong>, with whom I am currently working on an exhibition project of \u201cfour-hand collages,\u201d which is, for me, a new and exciting experience.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
