<\/strong>I learned to pause and to compose with greater precision. To return to the same place and look again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Saudade<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
<\/strong>The images of Sebasti\u00e3o Salgado<\/a><\/strong> and the verses of Patti Smith,<\/a><\/strong> are a constant inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
<\/strong>The hardest part of my creative process is avoiding the repetition of comfortable formulas. Looking at the same thing as if it were the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?
<\/strong>A pork sandwich with queijo da Serra at Casa Guedes<\/a><\/strong> , or a milanesa torta with green chilaquiles at La Esquina del Chilaquil<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?
<\/strong>I always cry when I listen to <\/strong>Just Like Honey<\/em> from The Jesus and Mary Chain<\/a><\/strong>. I think it would be the perfect soundtrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which studios, laboratories, or workshops have you collaborated with recently or would you like to collaborate with in the future?
<\/strong>In the future, I would like to experiment with anthotype. I love the idea of working with plant-based pigments and other natural elements to create an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.
<\/strong>I\u2019m amazed by the work of Andreas Gursky<\/a><\/strong>. I\u2019m overwhelmed and excited by the immensity of the world: repetitive, chaotic, and beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
