I enjoy working with error, with time, and with chance\u2014slower, more experimental processes where each image becomes almost an event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve also been exploring self-portraiture as a form of inner inquiry. In series like <em>Vortex<\/em>, I use my own body and face to connect with questions that live within me and that, often, even I wasn\u2019t aware of. The process involves a literal deconstruction: I physically manipulate the images as if I were touching my own identity, in an attempt to find answers for emotions that don\u2019t know how to express themselves in words. Analog photography forced me to accept waiting, error, and uncertainty, and that ended up reflecting in me as well. I unlearned the need to control everything and to know exactly what I\u2019m creating before creating it. I kept thinking about how certain emotions get trapped in small gestures, in fragments, in almost invisible things. There was a constant need to move closer to the intimate and the fragile, to touch what we usually hide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4614\" height=\"2992\" data-src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/errr-magazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/000031-688.jpg?resize=4614%2C2992&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-203029 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 4614px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 4614\/2992;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?<\/strong><br>I can\u2019t always point to a specific reference, because I feel that everything around me ends up influencing my work: conversations, places, people, silence. There was a time when I watched many old films\u2014and I still do\u2014and one that deeply marked me was <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/film\/wild-strawberries\/\">Wild Strawberries<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, by Ingmar Bergman. I\u2019m drawn to that kind of introspective cinema, where time, memory, and existence blur together. Not getting lost in comparison or in expectations of how a photograph will turn out.
