How did this place come about and what made it different from the start?
<\/strong>The idea of Caf\u00e9 Proyecto Cero<\/a><\/strong> began with a passion for coffee and the joy of discovering caf\u00e9s everywhere. For several years we moved back and forth between Mexico City and Quer\u00e9taro; during that time we tried many caf\u00e9s and dreamed of one day having our own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Larissa later joined that dream and added the idea of creating a space where illustrators could bring and sell their work, alongside a selection of writing accessories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been an interesting challenge that has made you rethink something about the project?<\/strong>
We\u2019ve come to understand that the challenge isn\u2019t easy, but we\u2019re learning how to manage the business and we\u2019re constantly searching for coffee from other regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What influence, idea, or reference continues to shape the way you work today?
<\/strong>A coffee project that feels out of this world\u2014a kind of space exploration in search of new sensations for people. A caf\u00e9 made for takeoff, something you can enjoy at the bar or take home. No labels: just good coffee, prepared to each customer\u2019s taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What place, project, or person has inspired you recently and why?<\/strong><\/strong>
We decided to learn more about coffee by visiting some coffee-growing regions in Veracruz. There we realized the complexity of producing a great cup and everything that happens behind the scenes. That experience also made us decide that we wanted to sell coffee beans as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there an object, corner or detail of the place that has a story that few people know?
<\/strong>We found the space for the bar and rebuilt it. During that process we were inspired to create a retro-space caf\u00e9, where our love for cats would also be reflected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If this project were a city, a book, or a record, which would it be and why?
<\/strong>We would be a caf\u00e9 from The Twilight Zone.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
