What pieces or projects have you been working on lately? <\/strong>
I\u2019ve been working on my own performance projects. Some of them are taking shape at their own pace, while others are about to come out. At the same time, I\u2019ve been casting for independent film projects and collaborating with friends, with whom I\u2019ve been developing ideas from the script stage that we\u2019re very interested in exploring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them? <\/strong>
I learned that working with your body requires understanding the time that implies in relation to your own cycles. I understood that natural processes can\u2019t be forced, that for the flower, or the idea, to bloom, you have to nourish yourself and wait. It\u2019s not always spring, and likewise it\u2019s not always winter. Each cycle has its own nature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sometimes forget that we\u2019re not creation machines, on the contrary, we\u2019re human beings living life while we create. I learned that resting is part of the same commitment we put into things; presence and listening to my own body are vital for my health on every level and in every aspect. I understood that my relationship with my body is one of the most precious I have. My source of life and my source of creation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head? <\/strong>
Frustration and, at the same time, hope. Confusion and, at the same time, strength. Noise and, at the same time, total silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work? <\/strong>
One of the things that resonated most with me at that time was reading about quantum physics, particularly the quantum atom. Understanding that our reality is hardly grounded in matter or in the facts<\/em> we\u2019ve believed in. We are more energy than matter in every possible sense. It was a reality check, a quantum reality. That allowed me to see myself from another perspective, and everything became lighter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process? <\/strong>
A bit of what I already mentioned: it relates directly to me and, therefore, to my creation. I\u2019d say the hardest thing I\u2019ve faced is reconnecting with that true space of creation within myself, which has nothing to do with what\u2019s expected of me or with any result. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?\u00a0<\/strong>
I really like the breakfasts at Paris 16<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?\u00a0<\/strong>
I\u2019d love it to be something like \u201cThe Awakening of a Woman,\u201d which is actually a song by The Cinematic Orchestra<\/strong><\/a>. So that, The Awakening of a Woman<\/em>, and they themselves would do the soundtrack. It would definitely sound something like that.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend us an artist you follow who inspires you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.\u00a0<\/strong>
Filmmaker Chantal Akerman<\/strong><\/a>. Her work deals with the everyday, and her stories often focus on contemplating someone\u2019s life. Almost imperceptible actions that are full of meaning. For me, as an actress and creator, it\u2019s incredible to watch the living train of thought of her characters in an apparently simple situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
