What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?<\/strong>
Over the past year, I\u2019ve felt my creative side in survival mode. I spend my time trying to keep feeling like an \u201cartist\u201d or looking for inspiration in my surroundings, struggling to maintain the essence of what my eyes capture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?<\/strong>
I\u2019ve accepted that, in the end, we always express ourselves unconsciously, and I\u2019m still learning how to get out of a creative block (surprise: there\u2019s no quick fix). I\u2019ve also found myself enjoying and appreciating each moment rather than documenting it (there\u2019s an art in that, too).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
<\/strong>Filling yourself with inspiration is the most important thing, so I\u2019ve been appreciating every new and old film, listening to music, and collecting ideas for the near future. Learning to see with new eyes during my process of reinventing myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?<\/strong>
In those moments of self-discovery, there\u2019s the uncertainty that the result will be different from what you imagined. So I just try not to judge myself as much as I usually do. These past months have been full of compassion for myself and my creative process, currently chaotic, or rewriting itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?<\/strong>
My favorite restaurant is a sushi place in my city. I always order the Kiwi roll, a natural roll topped with roca shrimp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.
<\/strong>My admiration will always go to my fellow artists, with whom it has always been so easy to transform an informal idea into something tangible and lasting. It\u2019s one of the best gifts I\u2019ve ever received.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
