Maintaining consistency is a real challenge. Discipline is important for me, and it has to be a daily practice, but I also learned that rest is essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yellow, pink, happiness, doubt, satisfaction\u2026 so much going through my mind, but it\u2019s a pleasure to have so much to think about in order to create and feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?<\/strong>
Continuous conversations about starting over, broken hearts, and the concept of dwelling<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?<\/strong>
The fear of ruining it. I\u2019m usually very expressive when I create, but there was a crucial moment when I doubted myself. I rested, did exercises to loosen my hand, and continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?<\/strong>
I prefer eating at home; I really enjoy the full ritual of cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Definitely Submarine<\/a><\/strong>, including its soundtrack<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.<\/strong>
Tysapaulina<\/a><\/strong>. She has been one of my favorite artists for years; I\u2019m deeply inspired by her work and how she shares her creative process throughout all her years of creating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On an international level, a musical artist who motivates me greatly is Rosal\u00eda\u2019s<\/strong><\/a>. Her perseverance and her quest to develop a personal style have been a huge inspiration for me and always push me to keep seeking something different.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

I\u2019ve been working on a series about dwelling, made up of fragments of homes that could belong to anyone, inviting the viewer to connect with their own sense of space.
