What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?<\/strong>
Lately, I\u2019ve been focused on photographing what I like to call \u201cmy life path.\u201d Everything that inspires me comes from my daily life: my friends, my work, my travels; whatever I consider important to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?<\/strong>
Along this path, I\u2019ve had moments full of self-discovery. I\u2019ve learned to be self-taught, to understand that mistakes are sometimes necessary, and most importantly, to be persistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?<\/strong>
There were times \u2014like many of us when starting something new\u2014 when I felt frustrated. But those moments were overshadowed by a strong sense of belonging, by the feeling that what I\u2019m doing has a purpose for me. At the moment, what excites me most is what lies ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?<\/strong>
I feel like I\u2019ve been surrounded by very creative environments. The book How I Take Photographs<\/strong><\/a> from Daido Moriyama<\/strong><\/a> and the film Lost in Translation <\/a><\/strong>have been important references for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?<\/strong>
Honestly, the hardest part has been doubting whether what I\u2019m doing is good enough, wondering if anyone would like it, and dealing with creative block. I just let my eyes and camera guide me, focusing on finding magic instead of perfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?<\/strong>
My favorite restaurant is Vegan Ramen Mei<\/strong><\/a>. I recommend the red tonkotsu\u2014it\u2019s amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?<\/strong>
Its title would be In my place<\/em> with the soundtrack by Coldplay<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.<\/strong>
I\u2019m hugely inspired by Hermann D. Neudert<\/strong><\/a> and the whole Neuderts team<\/a><\/strong>. Thanks to them, I see a completely different perspective on how you can create and feel through a song, a video, or a photograph. I would love to create with the same passion they have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
