What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?
<\/strong>\u201cSouls\u201d is a project I\u2019ve been working on since 2021. It consists of a photographic series in which I like to freeze spaces and people through specific details of what I see at any given moment. Behind each image there is a story, which allows me to preserve that memory. I started it as an experimental exercise, but it ended up becoming part of my daily routine, as I\u2019ve always been fascinated by capturing what others might overlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
<\/strong>It has helped me remember that everyone has their own pace and creative process; what matters is not whether the journey is long or short, but feeling satisfied with the results. I've also come to understand that we will always be inspired by others, just as we will inspire others. Creativity is a path that is built individually, but also collectively and indirectly. It's crucial to remain humble and remember that differing opinions don't invalidate your work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?
<\/strong>\u201cFeel, live, and explore\u201d: that\u2019s what I think when I watch this series. It\u2019s my way of reminding myself that everything around me can become a record of my memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
<\/strong>A conversation with my dad\u2014who, by the way, wrote my biography\u2014in which we talked about creativity and originality, starting with this photo series. We concluded that our work is always inspired by someone else's, and that's not a bad thing; it's part of the creative process. I also recommend reading \"Steal Like an Artist\" by Austin Kleon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
<\/strong>I recently experienced a creative crisis: I felt lost regarding my identity and what I want to communicate as a photographer. I even began to think that, by working in multiple styles, I lacked a defined voice. However, this project reminded me that I've always had my own essence, which manifests itself through different mediums.

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?
<\/strong>I prefer coffee shops, and my favorite is called Caf\u00e9 Lim\u00f3n<\/strong><\/a>. I recommend trying the espresso tonic: it refreshes and energizes you at the same time, the best combo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?
<\/strong>\u201cFeel\u201d, and the soundtrack would be in charge of Elena Rose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.<\/strong>
One of my main inspirations is P Magazine, as it features the work of various photographers and allows me to discover other artists who explore similar styles to my own. I enjoy constantly learning from other creators.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
