What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?<\/strong>
Lately I've been working on a series of portraits of young creatives in Miami (where I live) in a historic neighborhood.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?<\/strong>
I love the challenge of photographing a specific area. Once I take a good photo, it becomes more difficult to take another, so I try to find new perspectives and keep an open mind while I work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?
<\/strong>I didn't really feel any emotion or have any words, but I forced myself to take pictures. I got into the habit of going for walks with my camera, inviting my friends to be in the photos, asking neighbors if they wanted to take a picture. Basically, anything that would motivate me to take a picture instead of waiting for inspiration to strike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?<\/strong>
I love movies, but none of them inspired me. The project was adapted into a film to give it that cinematic quality I love. It was a deliberate decision, as I wanted to transcend the monotony of everyday life and find beauty within it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
<\/strong>The hardest part of the creative process for me is selecting the photos. I love taking lots of pictures, sometimes too many, so choosing the images for a project can take a long time. I usually wait a while after the shoot to look at the photos with fresh eyes and perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?<\/strong>
My favorite restaurants in Miami are:
-Puerto Saguas for Cuban food
-Fiorito for Argentinian food
-Enriquetas for a true Miami experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?<\/strong>
The film's title would be \"Running Without Sleep\" and the soundtrack would be by LCD Soundsystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.<\/strong>
