What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?<\/strong>
A lo largo de los a\u00f1os he dedicado una gran parte de mi tiempo al registro fotogr\u00e1fico de la experiencia duranguense, el cual considero que es un proyecto en el que voy a trabajar toda mi vida. Me gusta llevar mi c\u00e1mara a todos esos lugares que representen las diferentes experiencias de vivir en Durango a trav\u00e9s de las distintas vertientes que esto significa, pasando por subculturas, deportes, eventos y cotidianidades. Todo aquello que ayude a resignificar los estereotipos de quienes vivimos por ac\u00e1. Es algo que tambi\u00e9n busco contar a trav\u00e9s del cine que hago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?<\/strong>
Durango es demasiado gigante para englobarlo en un solo tipo de personas y vivencias; cada rinc\u00f3n es pr\u00e1cticamente otro mundo, con diferentes formas de manifestar su sensibilidad y de comprender su propia historia. El arte es uno de los pocos mecanismos de difusi\u00f3n inmediata que pueden ayudar a universalizar esa sensibilizaci\u00f3n y comprensi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout this time, the great challenge has always been to develop an observation technique that allows me to capture moments stealthily and without altering the reality of those involved. I've found more and more confidence and freedom in doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
