What pieces or projects have you been working on lately?
<\/strong>De manera personal, tengo el constante proyecto de documentar los paisajes que me rodean. Las carreteras que voy recorriendo, los cielos, el mar y las monta\u00f1as, el concreto y lo salvaje de la ciudad. Como una especie de diario visual. Este en particular, fue un viaje a la monta\u00f1a. Me quedaba sin aire por el cansancio, pero los paisajes me exig\u00edan retratarlos. Era una especie de sue\u00f1o\u00a0febril.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
<\/strong>Aprend\u00ed a respirar y tomar pausas. A que no todo tiene que ser creado con un fin espec\u00edfico. A veces cuando conviertes tu pasi\u00f3n en tu trabajo, te ciegas a la belleza de lo cotidiano,\u00a0olvidas el porqu\u00e9. Aprend\u00ed a buscarlo de nuevo,\u00a0desaprend\u00ed el vivir con prisa y dejar de observar.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Calma, nostalgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
<\/strong>La Vida Material<\/em> de Marguerite Duras<\/strong><\/a>. Me encontr\u00e9 varias veces en sus letras, me hizo cuestionar mi forma de ver el mundo y me hac\u00eda sentir una especie de urgencia por salir a explorar m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014Ya hemos caminado aqu\u00ed. \u00a1Estamos en el mismo sitio de hace unos minutos!<\/em>
\u2014Hemos caminado aqu\u00ed, cierto. Es el mismo sitio. Y, de alguna manera, no es el mismo.\u00a0\u00bfNo ha caminado alg\u00fan bicho de los millones que no pisamos hace un rato? \u00bfEl viento se habr\u00e1 quedado quieto, en reposo, a la espera de tu regreso? \u00bfNo ser\u00eda bastante tonto que esta rama no haya crecido lo que le dictan su milenaria espera hasta que no te viera volver? En toda la noche no he visto un capullo florecer y eso no quiere decir que ma\u00f1ana no haya olores que gu\u00eden los caminos o que ayer no fueron arrancadas para adornar alguna corona en alguna cabeza.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
<\/strong>Aunque es hermoso poder trabajar de lo que amo, a veces el tener que hacerlo tan frecuentemente me deja agotada mentalmente. Para cuando quiero pensar en mi trabajo personal, me he quedado sin ideas. Separar el tener a mi lado la c\u00e1mara como herramienta de trabajo vs tenerla a mi lado como herramienta de exploraci\u00f3n y creaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
