Esta pel\u00edcula nos llev\u00f3 alrededor de tres a\u00f1os de trabajo, aunque la primera vez que hablamos sobre hacerla fue hace ocho.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ng3muSwIfvc?si=xGiflV77lmC73b5K\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La pel\u00edcula fue escrita por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/guillermo_arriaga_jordan\/\">nuestro padre<\/a> en los 90\u2019s, a m\u00e1quina de escribir. Crecimos haciendo viajes en carretera en familia, y tambi\u00e9n escuchando todas las historias sobre las que estaba trabajando. Esta fue una de las que en aqu\u00e9l momento nos narr\u00f3. Pasaron los a\u00f1os y cuando Santiago estaba por graduarse de la universidad, encontr\u00f3 el manuscrito original. Al leerlo corri\u00f3 a ense\u00f1\u00e1rmelo y a decirme que hab\u00eda encontrado una historia que le gustar\u00eda\u00a0 que hici\u00e9ramos como primera pel\u00edcula. De hecho, si hiciera la misma pel\u00edcula ahora (luego de todo el camino recorrido), estoy segura de que ser\u00eda otra completamente distinta. Aprend\u00ed demasiadas cosas. Cuando est\u00e1s armando las escenas hay mucha claridad sobre lo que filmaste mal, o lo que te falt\u00f3 filmar. Te da una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s completa de lo que pudiste haber hecho para que esa escena se construyera mejor. Tambi\u00e9n aprendes mucho sobre c\u00f3mo se traducen las escenas de un gui\u00f3n a una pel\u00edcula. Nuestro dise\u00f1ador de producci\u00f3n, Carlos Jacques, desde que le\u00eda la historia nos advirti\u00f3 sobre algunas escenas que, puestas como estaban escritas, no funcionar\u00edan. No hicimos caso y decidimos filmarlas, solo para darnos cuenta en la sala de edici\u00f3n que Carlos ten\u00eda raz\u00f3n. Pero no fue hasta ese momento que vimos lo que el dec\u00eda con claridad. En pel\u00edculas estaban \u201cY Tu Mam\u00e1 Tambi\u00e9n\u201d, \u201cStand by me\u201d, \u201cThe Return\u201d. Estas tres son pel\u00edculas en las que el impulso adolescente est\u00e1 muy presente. Es uno de nuestros m\u00fasicos favoritos, y desde hace mucho venimos siguiendo su carrera. Al momento de acercarnos a la etapa de post producci\u00f3n, nuestros productores nos preguntaron que a quien ten\u00edamos de mente en la parte de m\u00fasica. Dijimos como referencia a Ludovico, sin imaginar que lo buscar\u00edan.
