Tell us a little about yourself and how you got started in photography. What inspired you to start taking pictures?<\/strong>
Me llamo Ale, soy fot\u00f3grafa y vide\u00f3grafa y resido en la ciudad de M\u00e9rida.
Desde segundo de secundaria me empez\u00f3 a llamar la atenci\u00f3n el cine, mi sue\u00f1o era estudiarlo como carrera universitaria pero en M\u00e9rida no hay universidades con esta licenciatura, as\u00ed que decid\u00ed estudiar fotograf\u00eda, pensando que esto me llevar\u00eda hacia el camino del cine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone has a unique style, can you describe how you would define your style and what visual or conceptual elements characterize it?<\/strong>
Creo que he ido evolucionando con el paso del tiempo, pero el estilo con el que me relaciona la gente es el editorial y algunas veces he escuchado la palabra \u201ccinematogr\u00e1fico\u201d. Personalmente no s\u00e9 si tenga un estilo definido, pero me gusta experimentar y tomar fotograf\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photography has the power to tell stories and convey emotions. Can you share an experience where one of your photographs has had a significant impact on people or yourself?<\/strong>
Muchas veces he estado cegada por el s\u00edndrome del impostor, pero en las \u00e9pocas de claridad, me doy cuenta de que he hecho im\u00e1genes valiosas con atm\u00f3sferas interesantes y sobre todo me he dado cuenta de que mi esencia est\u00e1 plasmada en mis fotograf\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been your most challenging photography project to date and why?<\/strong>
Mi proyecto fotogr\u00e1fico \u201cLeyendas del Ring\u201d, el cual empez\u00f3 como una tarea escolar y termin\u00f3 siendo un proyecto seleccionado por el \u201cFondo municipal para las Artes Visuales\u201d en M\u00e9rida. Leyendas es un proyecto que trat\u00f3 sobre fotografiar a los luchadores m\u00e1s destacados y emergentes del estado de Yucat\u00e1n. Fue seleccionado a principios del 2020 y se paus\u00f3 el proyecto durante un a\u00f1o por la pandemia, en el 2021 se reanudaron las actividades pero me toc\u00f3 hacer las fotograf\u00edas a\u00fan en pandemia y fue un reto terminar, conseguir locaciones, contactar luchadores y armar los sets, definitivamente fue un trabajo duro pero fue muy satisfactorio cuando logr\u00e9 concluirlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology and photo editing tools are constantly evolving, can you tell us about the techniques and equipment you consider essential to your work?<\/strong>
Siempre he preferido trabajar el color en Lightroom y algunas cosas m\u00e1s espec\u00edficas en Photoshop. Siento que Lightroom me permite experimentar m\u00e1s con el color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many genres in photography, from portraits to nature photography. Do you have a favorite genre that you are most comfortable with or enjoy shooting? Why?<\/strong>

For aspiring photographers who may be reading this interview, what is the most valuable piece of advice you have received in your career or would like to share with them?<\/strong>
Mi mayor consejo es que nunca dejen de tomar fotos, no importa el momento, no importa que sea, si te llama la atenci\u00f3n un objeto, un reflejo de luz, tu t\u00f3male foto, porque ah\u00ed te vas conociendo a trav\u00e9s de tus im\u00e1genes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
