I think I ended up taking more photos than I would normally just as an excuse to stop and stand in the shade for a while. The little person all the way down the hill was a toddler learning to walk. His parents kept encouraging him to walk towards them. It was very cute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What feelings come to you when you look at it?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe feeling you get as a kid before you are gonna roll down the biggest hill in the park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pull-right\">&#8220;I wanted to go for a higher contrast desaturated 90s look. It always reminds me of very old family photos and I like film photos to, ya know, look like film.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you like most about this photograph and why?<\/strong><br \/>\nI was really happy that I was able to capture the perspective of on top of the hill. It can be hard to really get that 3d perspective in 2d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What were your references, influences or inspirations during your creative process?<\/strong><br \/>\nI think I enjoyed having a fixed lens &#8211; it meant I had to really think about the frame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What did you enjoy the most about the process?<\/strong><br \/>\nI liked being a funny tourist squatting down on the grass with my silly film camera.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was the hardest thing for you and how did you solve it?<\/strong><br \/>\nI had no idea if this one was gonna be too dark &#8211; the iso was like 60 so I had to stand really still. But you gotta take the risk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In what format and where would you like to see it exhibited?<\/strong><br \/>\nAnywhere &#8211; honestly having it exhibited would be amazing.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was on holiday in Vienna, walking around endlessly with a broken toe.
