Which tools did you use for the creation of this piece?<\/strong>
\nPhotoshop.<\/p>\n

What was the creative process behind it, from the beginning until it was finished?<\/strong>
\nBasically just combining portraits with graphic design elements. I start on rough sketching and brainstorming, searching for the best value and balance of the art and graphics, then I start painting the portrait. After that I start building graphic elements around it. And the last thing I put is textures, just to make it more interesting and make it as a solid artwork.<\/p>\n

What were your references, influences or inspirations during your creative process?<\/strong>
\nI got my inspirations from vintage Japanese posters, and I’m a big fan of portraits like in photograph or paintings. My favourite artworks is The Great Wave off Kanagawa<\/em> by ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. And Wataboku is the one who make me wants to do portrait paintings.<\/p>\n

What did you enjoy the most about the process?<\/strong>
\nActually everything, from brainstorming to finish, but if I have to pick one I think when I start putting graphics elements around the portraits and make it as one artwork.<\/p>\n

What was the hardest thing for you and how did you solve it?<\/strong>
