{"id":181368,"date":"2022-08-01T02:07:03","date_gmt":"2022-08-01T07:07:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/errr-magazine.com\/?p=181368"},"modified":"2025-08-15T10:55:59","modified_gmt":"2025-08-15T16:55:59","slug":"correct-paths","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/errr-magazine.com\/english\/caminos-correctos\/","title":{"rendered":"Correct paths"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Interview with Cynthia Mart\u00ednez<\/strong><br \/>\nby Abel Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez G.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What camera and other tools did you use to make this photograph?<\/strong><br \/>\nNikon F100 with a 35mm Kodak 400 roll.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who participated or collaborated with you?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo one, it really was a super spontaneous moment that I wanted to capture as I watched the birds complete the landscape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell us about the place where you took this picture.<\/strong><br \/>\nIt was the first time Norman, my boyfriend before we were dating, came to visit me (chase me in love) in Monterrey after we met in Morelia. We planned a little weekend trip to a cabin with some friends. The photo is on the way back on the road to Saltillo from Monterreal. In my friend Nana's truck with Norman and I in the back taking pictures. I remember an incredible sunset and feeling very happy to be there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pull-left\">Now that getaway with friends is a memory of our first adventures and travels that led to actually living together as nomads and traveling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you like most about this photo?<\/strong><br \/>\nWhich was super organic and reminds me of a very life changing but exciting time in my life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Does this photo have a title?<\/strong><br \/>\nI think at the time I would have put something to do with freedom and new opportunities and now it would be something much more nostalgic and about feeling the right paths.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Was there anything consciously that could be considered an influence or an inspiration within your creative process to make this image?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo, it was just that impulse to capture the moment in front of and behind the camera.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell us about something that happened while you were taking the photo, or at some other point in the process.<\/strong><br \/>\nAs the photography itself was super organic, I remember being nervous if the speed was the right one to capture the birds because I didn't have time to adjust much. And the development that was a couple of months later, seeing the photos was also incredible because that roll took me time to finish and I had many memories of this type, and without realizing the time my life had changed a lot for the better.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you do something totally different from what you normally do for other photos?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes, I don't normally take so many photos in motion or on the road, only of cars at night but it's a different process and settings, so it was something a bit new for me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What did you learn in the process of creating this photograph?<\/strong><br \/>\nDon't be left with the desire to take the picture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where and in what format would you like to see it exhibited?<\/strong><br \/>\nIn a social space like the living room of our apartment, because of its history and sense of nostalgia, in a large format with a frame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there anything else you would like to add regarding photography?<\/strong><br \/>\nI had forgotten her a bit and doing this interview has made me reflect on how photos, besides the artistic sense, really capture moments and stories and I love that.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ahora esa escapada con amigos es un recuerdo de nuestras primeras aventuras y viajes que llev\u00f3 a actualmente vivir juntos de n\u00f3madas y viajando&#8230;<\/p>","protected":false},"author":7550,"featured_media":181369,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"cybocfi_hide_featured_image":"","_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[17849],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-181368","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-interviews"],"acf":[],"mb":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
