What were you doing there that day?<\/strong><br \/>\nIt was at Shorncliffe Pier in Brisbane. I\u2019m originally from Istanbul and I used to go by the sea to relax. Brisbane is far away from the ocean so it is a bit of a drive, but I remember feeling homesick and wanting to be near water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you like the most about this photograph and why?<\/strong><br \/>\nI like the grain and the ambiguity of the subject.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Was there anything that you can consider an influence or source of inspiration to create this photo?<\/strong><br \/>\nI usually shoot colour but I wanted to try to do some black and white portraits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell us something fun, interesting, weird or intense that happened at any point during the process of making this photo.<\/strong><br \/>\nI was actually trying to picture the gorgeous moon behind my model, but as always, moon looks better in real life. <\/p>\n<p class=\"pull-left\">It was a perfect pink sky too, but as every analog photographer knows, you always have a black and white roll in your camera when you run into beautiful colours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For this photo, did you do something completely different to what you normally do for other photos?<\/strong><br \/>\nWell, shooting unfocused portraits of people isn\u2019t something I usually do so I guess we can say that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you learn something during the process of shooting this photo?<\/strong><br \/>\nIt\u2019s impossible to get a good photo of the moon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you could have collaborated with anyone to shoot this photo, who would they be and why?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo, I\u2019m too shy to collaborate with people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where and in which format would you like this photo to be exhibited?<\/strong><br \/>\nMaybe in a small exhibition for portraits.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a perfect pink sky too, but as every analog photographer knows, you always have a black and white roll in your camera when you run into beautiful colours&#8230;<\/p>","protected":false},"author":7488,"featured_media":178979,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"cybocfi_hide_featured_image":"","_jetpack_feature_clip_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[17849],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-178978","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-interviews"],"acf":[],"mb":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 -
