Entrevista a Miriam V\u00e1squez Garc\u00eda<\/strong>

What camera and other tools did you use to make this photograph?<\/strong>
\nPolaroid 2200 ff 28mm.<\/p>\n

Cu\u00e9ntanos del lugar en donde se tom\u00f3 esta fotograf\u00eda. \u00bfQu\u00e9 hac\u00edas ah\u00ed ese d\u00eda?<\/strong>
\nFue en el z\u00f3calo de Oaxaca y en mi casa, es una doble exposici\u00f3n. Esa tarde sal\u00ed con mis amigxs al centro de la ciudad para tomar fotos juntxs, ten\u00edamos 16 a\u00f1os y nos la pas\u00e1bamos en el exterior. En la noche, a uno de ellos le vendieron una planta medicinal que era distinta a la que hab\u00eda pedido, me mostr\u00f3 la planta y le tom\u00e9 la foto. En mi casa reci\u00e9n hab\u00edan compuesto el tocadiscos y aprovech\u00e9 para probar un vinilo que hab\u00eda comprado en un bazar, era una compilaci\u00f3n de canciones de distintos artistas y el disco se llamaba The Supersonics<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es lo que m\u00e1s te gusta de esta fotograf\u00eda y por qu\u00e9?<\/strong>
\nFue mi primer rollo Fuji que por error sali\u00f3 como doble exposici\u00f3n. Me gusta que tiene la esencia de lo que para m\u00ed significaba tener diecis\u00e9is a\u00f1os: pasar las tardes con mis amigxs o en la soledad, escuchar los vinilos que encontraba en bazares y vivir al azar.<\/p>\n

En ese entonces apenas estaba descubriendo el tomar fotos en film y me enfocaba principalmente en explorar este estilo, as\u00ed que tomaba fotos de cualquier cosa.<\/p>\n

In this photograph did you do something totally different from what you normally do for other photos?<\/strong>
\nS\u00ed: no pensar en el resultado. Muchas veces tratando de progresar en la fotograf\u00eda no me daba la libertad de no preocuparme por c\u00f3mo se viera.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 aprendiste algo en el proceso de crear esta fotograf\u00eda?<\/strong>
\nA experimentar con la doble exposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\nCon @maffmontero porque conoce muchas t\u00e9cnicas de revelado con sustancias varias y siento que me pudo haber ayudado a experimentar a\u00fan m\u00e1s con este rollo.<\/p>\n
