\nThis was taken at my friend’s birthday dinner at Belmonte’s in New York City.<\/p>\n

\nI love that you can sense the attitude and personality of my friends in this photo without even seeing their faces.<\/p>\n

\nClink!<\/em>, to signify the martini glasses clinking as we celebrated my friend’s birthday.<\/p>\n

Was there anything consciously that could be considered an influence or an inspiration within your creative process to make this image?<\/strong>
\nI just wanted to capture candid moments on film for my friend’s special day.<\/p>\n

\nMy friends were posing for another photo that my other friend sitting next to me was taking of them. I wanted to capture just their mouths, hands, nails and food. It almost looks like an intentionally cropped out photo of their face which I kind of like.<\/p>\n

In this photograph did you do something totally different from what you normally do for other photos?<\/strong>
\nNo, not really. I love taking candids of my friends when we’re all having a good time.<\/p>\n

If you could have collaborated with anyone for this photo, who would it have been and why?<\/strong>
