In the midst of the irreversible
\nand waterlogged with handicap,
\nI search and search
\nthe answer to the same why
\nthat has been with me for the longest time
\nthan I would like to admit.<\/p>\n

If explained
\nfrom the first tangle of feelings,
\nthe great collapse might have been sufficiently contained
\nnot to raze my temple to the ground.<\/p>\n

In a reality
\nwhere the reactions
\nhappen during the actions
\nand disappointments,
\none is losing strength
\nto even struggle to get to safety.<\/p>\n

Everything was taken away from me,
\nexcept for crying.<\/p>\n

Every tear
\nload with kilos of unowned liability,
\nagreements without ownership
\nand unintentional apologies.<\/p>\n

So when I emptied myself,
\nI stand still
\ntrying to maintain the balance
\nand highlight an isolated cry
\ndemanding salvation
\nthan only in seconds of consciousness,
\nI understand myself.<\/p>\n

Ancient demons greet me blissfully
\nand they look at me mockingly
\nstanding at the foot of the door
\nwaiting for my next move.<\/p>\n

And I, tired...<\/p>\n

I smile.<\/p>\n
