I found a star necklace in the jewelry box that holds my memories. The silver ring that my mom gave me, the bracelet my ex bought me on that school trip, the jewelry I stole from that store, I still don't even know how I did it, that memory makes me nauseous, but it's my memory. Everything in that jewelry box has a reason to be, to exist and every time I wear something in there it reminds me of the life I had, the experiences I lived, the pain of a broken heart, the joy of a spoiled girl or the laughter of a good party.<\/p>\n
That star necklace had no history, I couldn't remember where it came from, who was behind that necklace, because I must confess that I don't buy jewelry, I just have it, it comes to me, and that necklace had no place of provenance, it was as if by magic it had appeared there.<\/p>\n
It's beautiful, so perfect, so delicate, and it looked so good hanging around my neck, but it disturbed me not knowing where it came from, why didn't it have a history?<\/p>\n
This morning I took it and wore it to work, I was afraid, it was like wearing clothes that someone else picked out for you, it was feeling a certain vulnerability for not knowing about what I was wearing.<\/p>\n
I arrived early at the office, and a man I don't know, a man I'm sure I'd never seen before, came up to me and whispered in my ear<\/p>\n
