I used to play the reta frequently in the afternoons of a bitter fragment that went through the nineties, when we lived in a neighborhood called Arco\u00edris, near Cholula; there I became a bum with several comrades. I am 6 years older than Esteban, so we are of somewhat distant generations. The Arco\u00edris comrades came up with the idea of forming a soccer team with the darkest guys in the neighborhood, and I convinced my brother to join. The first time he played against some kids from a neighboring town I was overwhelmed with pride, it was like seeing a son-brother; in many ways, with my inexperience, clumsiness and fragility, I was a father figure for him; and he is my greatest pride, because he is the best of men.
