What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
I always try to look for a story in photos. I really like pictures where you can see a part of documenting, personality, reflection, emotions. Now I’d like to capture life as it is — to try not to push too much.

Were there any conversations, movies, music, or books that made their way into that work?
One of my favourite movies is Manhattan Murder Mystery, by Woody Allen. A very emotional film!

What words, ideas or emotions were going through your head?
Right now, my life feels connected with the music of The National, Jefferson Airplane and Eddie Vedder.

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
A few weeks ago, I photographed for the brand Daily Sleeper in Sweden. The weather there was quite different from Barcelona — rain, wind, cold. I’m very thankful to Asya Varetsa, one of the founders of Sleeper, who was the model for this shoot. She was focused and helped to bring everything to life. Such a powerful, deeply understandable way of living. I definitely need holidays somewhere with cold weather!

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?
My favourite dinner is piadina with mozzarella and some vegetables. I love cooking myself, but I’ll probably find a nice Italian restaurant here in Barcelona!

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?
Just a few days ago, I started listening to Patti Smith. I think my favourite song now is Frederick.

Recommend one or more artists you follow who inspire you, and tell us what you like most about their work or their way of working.
I’m very much in love with the photography of Venetia Scott: the emotions, the light, the style, the texture of her photos. Everything about her work touches me!
