What did you learn (or unlearn) while working on them?
I learned that our wrinkles tell stories. That our scars show we have survived. That our stretch marks reveal how constantly we change and adapt. That we spend too much time fearing the ending, when we should be proud of how alive we are.

I also learned that there is no sun without shadow. Every sunrise needs a night. That, perhaps like the moon, we must pass through phases of emptiness in order to feel full again. There is bravery in being soft.

What's been the most difficult thing you've faced recently in your creative process?
Accepting that there are so many photographs I am not allowed to share. That after so many years, we still have to cover up.

What is your favorite restaurant and what do you recommend we order?
It will always be on a blanket by the sea. A picnic with friends, and dips in the salt water.

If your life were a movie this month, what would it be called and who would write the soundtrack?
Solo nado si es contigo (Sen Senra – Eternamente joven).
